Honolulu Chiropractor Goes Island Hopping to Alcatraz
I have just returned from catching the ferry at pier 33 for the ride to Alcatraz. The partly cloudy skies gave an an extra errie feeling. Being a Honolulu chiropractor, I’m used to living on an island but this island is a bit different. While listening to the guided tour on headset, I realized how hard it must have been to be so close and yet so far from freedom. I mean to be able to hear the sounds of the city and yet be just out of reach and out of site. That is karma in and of itself.
If you have’nt been on the tour, I would highly recommend it. It’s great to be on the water for the ride, the tour itself is educational and entertaining, and the history is palpable.
